Are you ready to make the commitment to become a really good guitar player?
Well, if you're reading this, you've probably already thought about taking guitar lessons, but you want to know more about the actual "taking" of private lessons before considering investing your time, effort and money into such a commitment. Do you work out? If so, you know what commitment means. You have made a conscious decision to get back into shape so you can look and feel better, stronger and most of all, be more healthy. This sort of commitment isn't for everyone. Just ask the "New Years resolutionists" who sign up for a gym membership the first week of January, go to a few workouts only to never be seen again, by February. People who work out, choose it for life, their life. They make the time and the commitment to work out every day if they have the time. They don't make excuses to not work out. It becomes part of their unconditional daily routine.
Are you someone who wants to commit to truly learning how to practice and play your guitar? Are you willing to commit to practicing as much as one full hour every day without excuses? Maybe you've finally made the decision that you are ready to take on the challenge of becoming a much better guitarist. Wouldn't it be great to be able to play so many of your favorite songs?
I get asked all of the time, "How many lessons do I need?" Well, the simple answer is" "More than one, less than a hundred." It all depends on what you are looking for by taking lessons. What are your musical goals, both long-term and short-term? Do you just want to play guitar for yourself or do you want to start or join a band? Maybe you want to learn how to record your own music or work with other musicians on a project. Maybe you just like to sit on the back porch with your friends on the weekends and entertain them with a few renditions of your favorite songs. All of these goals are legitimate. As a guitar teacher, I have instructed lessons with students who have wanted to do all of those things. I've even had several students go on to become working musicians and instructors themselves. It is always a proud day for me, when I find out a present or former student has gone on to work in a band on the weekends or has started teaching a friend or family how to play the guitar.
This is how I teach all of my students. I want my students to know enough about their lessons, their music and their guitar so that they can teach others what they know. The best way to learn anything is to teach it. If you would like to speak with me or text me directly about your lessons, please call or text me at (407) 252-8460. Let's talk about why you should consider taking guitar lessons with me.
